National Building Museum Ward 6 Day

National Building Museum (401 F St. NW)

Time: 9-11 a.m.

Capitol Hill residents will get to use the museum’s “Beach” exhibit for free. Bring a driver’s license or other form of identification that shows a home address for entry.

First District Police Citizens Advisory Council Public Meeting

Metropolitan Police Department First District Station (101 M St. SW)

Time: 7-9 p.m.

Meet with law enforcement representatives for presentations and a question-and-answer session about crime in the community.

Thursday

Canal Park Outdoor Movie: ‘The Sound of Music’

Canal Park (200 M St. SE)

Have a picnic and see “The Sound of Music” for free as part of the Canal Park Outdoor Movie Series.

Friday

U.S. Men’s National Team Soccer Friendly vs. Peru

RFK Stadium (2400 East Capitol St. SE)

Time: 7 p.m.

See the U.S men’s national soccer team takes on Peru in an exhibition game. Tickets are available online.
