Events DC Meeting on Future of RFK Stadium

St. Coletta of Greater Washington (1901 Independence Ave. SE)

Time: 6 p.m.

RFK Stadium property manager Events DC will gather with Capitol Hill residents for the first of two meetings to discuss the redevelopment of the area. The meeting will be informational with an opportunity for community members to share what they would like to see in the future.

Friday

#CapHillCreative BYO Happy Hour

East Side Yoga (518 10th St. NE)

Time: 7-9 p.m.

Display your art, share your food or drink and connect with your creative community at the first #CapHillCreative BYO Happy Hour. It is a free, 21 and older event open to the general public. Please RSVP in advance, especially if you want to display something or bring something to share.

Nation’s Football Classic

RFK Stadium (2400 East Capitol St. NE)

Time: 7:30 p.m.

Howard and Hampton universities face off in an annual football game, and this year is the “battle for the real HU.” Tickets start at $25.

Saturday

10th Annual H Street Festival

H Street NE (from 4th to 14th streets)

Time: 12-7 p.m.

The H Street Festival is taking over 10 blocks, featuring food, live music, local art, a fashion show, fitness classes, a burlesque performance, a “bad tattoo” competition and more.
