Suspected Package Thief Caught on Video Near H Street Corridor

A man has appeared on video swiping a package from outside a home near H Street NE.

The suspected theft occurred on the 800 block of 13th Street NE about 2 p.m. on Sept. 2, police said.

Video authorities distributed last night in connection with the incident shows a man without a shirt walking up a stairway to a row house and grabbing a small package. He then descends the stairs with the box.
