Thief Threatens to Shoot Woman in H Street Corridor Area
A man robbed a woman near 8th and H streets NE yesterday after he threatened to shoot her, police said.
The robbery happened about 1:15 p.m. when the woman was walking in the area.
The thief approached the woman from behind and asked her if she had any money before he said, “Do you want me to shoot you?” according to authorities.
He then grabbed the woman’s purse and ran away.
8th and H streets NE also was where a shooter fired a gun and another person flashed a firearm in separate incidents Saturday and a man was stabbed to death in August.
