Persons of Interest in Shooting Near Nationals Park Caught on Video

Police are asking the public for help identifying two men they believe are connected to a shooting near Nationals Park on Oct. 23.

The shooting on the 1400 block of 1st Street SW at about 9 a.m. last Friday left one man in critical condition. Police are investigating the shooting as an assault with intent to kill.

Police released a surveillance camera video today showing two people they believe were involved in the shooting. In the video, the two men, one in a black hoodie and the other in a gray one, can be seen crossing the street from a distance.
