Police released surveillance video today that shows an armed robbery of a parking garage attendant in NoMa.

The robbery occurred about 4:20 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 3 on the 1200 block of 1st Street NE near the Hilton hotel in NoMa, according to a description police released with the video.

The video shows a man in a ski mask threatening a man working in the parking garage toll booth and demanding cash. Once the attendant gives the attacker cash, the attacker sprays him with the pepper spray before fleeing.

Police also released surveillance footage of a person of interest in a sexual assault and robbery that occurred on Capitol Hill on Nov. 24.

The footage, released by police on Friday, shows a man inside a Subway restaurant who police believe is connected to a violent robbery on the 200 block of 8th Street SE.

The attack happened 10:35 p.m., according to an email from Metropolitan Police First District Commander Jeff Brown. A woman was approached from behind and pushed to the ground. The attacker then stole a tote bag from the woman and tried to pull her pants down before she was able to flee.
