Hill Pet of the Week: Barnabean

Barnabean is the Hill Pet of the Week. He’s a ten-month-old terrier/pit bull mix who loves going on walks and can be adopted. Here’s his bio shared by the Washington Humane Society shelter on New York Avenue:

Hi, I’m Barnabean, or Bean for short!

My favorite thing in the world is to go on walks. They’re fun, and a great way to get to know nice people! I’m much happier on walks than in my kennel, so I get REALLY excited when people come up to the door! Don’t worry though, I calm down once you let me out.

I love to wiggle up next to you, try to curl up in your lap, and just want to be the apple of your eye. I would excel in a calm, quiet home that can help me work on relaxation and confidence building.

Stuffed Kongs and kibble puzzle toys should help with stress relief and keep my brain working. Think you could help me grow into a calm, confident gentleman?

To adopt Barnabean or other pets from the Humane Society, see the Petango adoption site or call 202-576-6664.
