Crime Roundup: Woman Robbed at Gunpoint on H Street Corridor
A woman was robbed at gunpoint by four teens last night on the H Street corridor.
The robbery occurred about 10:15 last night on the 600 block of H Street NE. The thieves stole the woman’s purse and fled, according to an email from Metropolitan Police First District Lieutenant Brian A. Murphy.
The suspects were described as three black boys and one black girl between the ages of 15 and 17.
There was also an attempted assault later in the night in Southwest. A woman was talking to a person she knew on the 200 block of K Street SW when the other person grabbed her by her shirt and threatened her with a knife, according to Murphy. The woman was able to break free and flee and no injuries were reported.
