Pet of the Week: Marlo

Marlo is the Hill Pet of the Week. He’s a 5-month-old Terrier/ Pit Bull mix who is learning a lot of new tricks and can be adopted. Here’s his bio shared by the Washington Humane Society shelter on New York Avenue:

Picture this: a long walk with your best friend. Snuggling on the couch. Eating peanut butter together. Now picture that best friend: sweet and active and 35 pounds of awesome.

Marlo’s the name, and I’m the one you’ve been searching for! I get overwhelmed pretty easily right now, but if you’re willing to give me a little time, I’ll be the greatest pal you could ever hope for.

I’m learning new things everyday, like how to sit and stay and all the fun things you can do with a rope toy. And you could be part of it all! You and me, together forever. Isn’t that a pretty picture? Come meet me today, and make it a reality!
