Goldfish is the Hill Pet of the Week! Goldfish is not actually a fish–she’s a 6-year-old bulldog mix who can be adopted. Here’s her bio shared by the Washington Humane Society shelter on New York Avenue:
Hey, y’all! In my home before, I lived outside and hung out in the clay in the backyard, which is how I got an orange color and my name. But they cleaned me up and now I am back to my beautiful self.
I am a medium energy dog who loves to pretend I am a lap dog and am just so happy being pet and loved up. I am a big girl and need a refresher on some of my manners, but no worries I am eager to learn and please.
I have been great in the house and with my foster sister Foxy. I know I will do just as great with you and whomever you call family. I have a great personality and am just looking for my forever home. Just so you know my adoption is sponsored and my adoption fee is waived!
To adopt Goldfish or other pets from the Humane Society, see the Petango adoption site or call 202-576-6664.
