Metro to Halt Trains, Buses for Entire Weekend

Neither Metro buses nor trains will run this weekend, Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority CEO Paul Wiedefeld said at a press conference this afternoon.

Metro trains on all lines will shut down at 11 p.m. on Friday and not reopen until Monday morning. Buses will also not run over the weekend.

MetroAccess will suspend service at 6 p.m. tomorrow.
