Man Stabbed on Capitol Hill

100 block of D Street NW (Photo via Google Maps)A man stabbed another man on Capitol Hill yesterday afternoon, police said.

The stabbing happened on the 100 block of D Street NW about 5 p.m. Wednesday. The area is about a block south of the Georgetown University Law Center.

During the attack, the victim was stabbed in his left arm and in his thigh, according to authorities. He was brought to a local hospital for treatment.

Police stopped someone who matched the description of the attacker about 30 minutes after the assault. But it wasn’t immediately clear if they arrested the individual.

The Metropolitan Police Department currently offers a reward of up to $10,000 to anyone who provides information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for crimes committed within the District of Columbia.
