Hill Center Galleries Opening Reception
Hill Center (921 Pennsylvania Ave. SE)
6-8 p.m.

Hill Center hosts an open house for a multi-artist exhibition with “a bit of a Cuban flair,” according to the organization. Admission is free.

Norton in Your Neighborhood
Lobby Project (1200 1st St. NE)
6:30 to 7:30 p.m.

Del. Eleanor Holmes Norton visits NoMa to meet with locals.

Saturday

Rock ‘n’ Roll D.C. Marathon
Various streets
7 a.m.-2 p.m.

The Rock ‘n’ Roll D.C. Marathon, half marathon and 5K are back, bringing more than 25,000 runners and road closures to the Capitol Hill area.

Friends of Southeast Library Book Sale
Southeast Library (403 7th St. SE)
10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Friends of Southeast Library will have its monthly fundraiser, with most books for sale for $1.

RFK Stadium (2400 East Capitol St. SE)
3-11 p.m.

Vanilla Ice, Dropkick Murphys and Flogging Molly will perform as part of RFK’s annual St. Patrick’s Day festival.
