Police Release Video in Armed Robbery Near H Street Corridor

Someone wanted in the armed robbery of a woman near the H Street corridor this month has appeared in surveillance footage, police said.

The robbery, which involved a gun, occurred on the 1300 block of I Street NE about 4:15 a.m. March 5.

Video police distributed today in connection with the robbery shows somebody who appears to buy something in a store near the scene of the crime.

The Metropolitan Police Department currently offers a reward of up to $10,000 to anyone who provides information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for a violent offense, including armed robbery, committed in the District of Columbia. Your assistance is appreciated by your community.
