The Southeast Library puts up a life-sized edition of the “Candy Land” board game for children. Admission is free.

Journalism in DC Movies: ‘State of Play’

7-9 p.m.
Mike Canning, author of “Hollywood on the Potomac: How the Movies View Washington, D.C.,” hosts a free screening of “State of Play.” Admission is free.
Saturday
Easter Eggstravaganza
1-3 p.m.
Lincoln Park (East Capitol Street between 11th and 13th streets)
National Community Church hosts its annual Easter egg hunt with 15,000 eggs, the Easter bunny and games. Admission is free.
Drink the District Cherry Blossom Beer & Wine Festival
Lots H and I in The Yards (1300 1st St. SE)
1-4 p.m.
Taste more than 100 beers and wines amid live music performers and food trucks. Tickets start at $35.
Egg Hunt on 8th
8th and E streets SE
2-4 p.m.
Barracks Row Main Street hosts its annual Easter egg hunt with the Easter bunny, a toy train and giveaways. Admission is free.
Sunday
Taste on Wheels
Lots H and I in The Yards (1300 1st St. SE)
11 a.m.-6 p.m.
Food trucks gather for tastings in Navy Yard. Tickets are $10-$30.
Neighborhood Egg Hunt
13th Street Community Park and Garden (13th and C streets SE)
1-2 p.m.
The 13th Street Community Park and Garden hosts its annual Easter egg hunt, with an appearance by the Easter bunny. Admission is free.
