Bab Korean Fusion

There’s a new destination for Korean food on H Street NE.

Fast-casual Korean restaurant Bab Korean opened at 1387 H St. NE yesterday, according to employees at the restaurant. Neighborhood blog PoPville first mentioned the opening earlier this morning.

Bab Korean Fusion serves rice bowls with toppings found in South Korea, the home country of owner Justine Choe and her mother, Kay. The menu also includes kimchi fried rice and Shin-Ramyun noodle soup.

“With this area being so close to Capitol Hill, you see a lot of people coming and going all the time,” Choe told us last October. “We’re trying to do quick service with a little taste of Korean in everything.”
