Whisky is the Hill Pet of the Week. He’s an 18-month-old cat, who can be adopted. Here’s his bio shared by his foster parent, Jessie Hillenbrand:
Meet Whisky! Whisky is part of the new City Dogs Rescue cat program, City Kitties. City Kitties, like City Dogs, pulls abandoned animals from overwhelmed shelters throughout the many rural communities in the eastern part of the country.
Whisky recently made his way up from North Carolina. He is being fostered on Capitol Hill and loves his new (albeit temporary) digs. He enjoys cuddling, snuggling, being goofy and playing with his many crinkly toys. He’s 18 months old, but still has a whole lot of kitten in him. He’s super friendly, and loves to act as your “shadow.” He was recently introduced to Greenies and loves those too, especially when they are given to him while he’s lying on his back.
Whisky is a high-energy cat who is super friendly and just wants as much attention as he can get. (He obviously did not have much of it in his previous 17 months of life.) He will do well as the only cat, with other kitty friends, or even in a home with dogs. He’s very outgoing and will always be the life of the party.
