Hill Pet of the Week: Mila

by HillNow.com April 5, 2016 at 1:30 pm 0

Mila is the Hill Pet of the Week. She’s a 7-year-old Staffordshire Bull Terrier, who can be adopted. Here’s her bio shared by the Washington Humane Society shelter on New York Avenue NE:

Miss Mila is a sharp, independent and sophisticated gal who enjoys the finer things in life, like long strolls on the beach and sipping oak aged, free range chicken broth. She appreciates fine dining, and in exchange for an appetizer or two, will happily perform her sit, stay, touch, crawl, speak, wait, backup and pick it up commands for you.

Mila is 7 years old, and above any chewing, jumping and other puppy nonsense. Inside, she is very calm, quiet and dignified and happy to siesta on a soft, comfy couch. At night, she is a world champion sleeper and won’t make a peep until the coffee is on before rising in the mornings.

But don’t let her easy going nature fool you. On a moment’s notice she is up and ready for any adventure you have in store. She may never be a marathon runner, but there is always room for family, friends, a good walk or yard exploration in her schedule.

Because Mila is very much the belle of the ball, she is looking for an experienced owner who appreciates her special status as the only animal in their life.

To adopt Mila or other pets from the Humane Society, see the Petango adoption site or call 202-576-6664.
