Lucky Carryout, photo via Google Street ViewA Chinese restaurant in Hill East is closed for now after a D.C. food safety and hygiene inspector found that the eatery was “failing to minimize the presence of insects, rodents and other pests” on its premises, the D.C. Department of Health announced last night.

Lucky Carryout at 1430 Pennsylvania Ave. SE is closed until further notice, according to the DOH.

The agency didn’t immediately provide any further details about the closure. DOH typically releases full reports on restaurant closures within days of its inspections.

We called Lucky Carryout, but a representative for the restaurant couldn’t immediately be reached for comment.
