Lucky Carryout at 1430 Pennsylvania Ave. SE passed a DOH follow-up inspection Saturday after an agency inspector closed it Thursday.

The inspector last Thursday determined the restaurant was “failing to minimize the presence of insects, rodents and other pests” on its premises, according to the D.C. health agency.

DOH has yet to provide any further details about its inspections. The agency typically releases full inspection reports within days of its inspectors’ visits.

A representative for Lucky Carryout declined to comment on the closure when reached by phone earlier today.
