Hill Pet of the Week: Lucky

by HillNow.com — April 12, 2016 at 2:30 pm 0

Lucky is the Hill Pet of the Week. He’s a 7-month-old pit bull mix, who can be adopted. Here’s his bio shared by the Washington Humane Society shelter on New York Avenue NE:

They call me Lucky, but if you bring me home then you’ll be the lucky one! I’m an outgoing, fun-loving young pup who’s always ready for a walk or a game of fetch. I love being around all types of people, and will climb right into your lap, even if it’s the first time we’ve met! Everybody’s a friend to me.

I’m really smart too, and I’m a certified professional at “sit” and “down.” Everyone says I’m a quick learner, and every time I learn something new, I get a treat. That’s why I love training.

I’m still working on my puppy manners. It’s hard sometimes not to jump, since I’m always SO happy to see you! I’m getting better all the time, though! Right now I need to be the only pet in your life, but I’m all you could ever need.

To adopt Lucky or other pets from the Humane Society, see the Petango adoption site or call 202-576-6664.
