Dap is the Hill Pet of the Week. He’s a two-year-old terrier/ pit bull mix who can be adopted. Here’s his bio shared by the Washington Humane Society Shelter on New York Avenue NE:
What’s up?! I am Dap. I know its kind of a silly name but they gave me that name because I have a very special talent – if you put your fist out I will give you a dap (or some folks call it giving pounds)! If you don’t believe me check out my profile pictures!
I’m also a big ole goofball. I love hanging out with my human friends and I love learning new tricks – especially when treats are involved. You might have noticed I have some scaring on my back. I don’t really remember what happened before I got to WHS but I know the folks here are taking good care of me and nursing me back to health.
To adopt Dap or other pets from the Humane Society, see the Petango adoption site or call 202-576-6664.
