Hill Pet of the Week: Azora

Azora is the Hill Pet of the Week. She’s a 2-year-old domestic shorthair mix available for adoption. Here’s her bio shared by the Washington Humane Society shelter on New York Avenue NE:

I love the company of people but I also know how to keep myself entertained when we can’t be together so I’d be a great kitty for someone who works a lot or has a busy schedule. Let’s get one thing straight though: I am not a lap cat, and I like attention on my own terms. This means that sometimes I am in the mood to be pet, but most of the time I would rather do my own thing. I came to WHS as a stray over a year ago, and I was really happy to be off the streets. Now I need to find a permanent home: both in your heart and your house!

To adopt Azora or other pets from the Humane Society, see the Petango adoption site or call 202-576-6664.
