Barracks Row Main Street Garden Party

Locals can sip a “Barracks Rower” cocktail, shoot oysters and listen to live jazz outdoors next month to help support commercial activity on 8th Street SE.

Barracks Row Main Street, the nonprofit organization dedicated to 8th Street’s revitalization, is slated to host its annual garden party fundraiser June 3. The event at the Amway House (419 New Jersey Ave. SE) will feature food from Barracks Row restaurants Senart’s Oyster & Chop House, Cafe Kimchi, The Chesapeake Room and Ambar.

A single ticket for the gathering is $125 online, while three tickets are $250. The party runs from 6 to 8 p.m.
