Book and Diaper Drive

Show an act of kindness by donating disposable diapers and used or new books for children and adults at the Acts of Kindness Day Book and Diaper Drive. It will benefit Books for America and the DC Diaper Bank.

Capitol Hill Seventh-Day Adventist Church is hosting the event as part of its 4th Annual Acts of Kindness Day, when the congregation volunteers at community service projects throughout the District of Columbia. From 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., volunteers will stand outside in front of the church to receive your donation of books and diapers.

Books needed:

• Children’s, adult fiction (paperback only, no romance novels), adult nonfiction, encyclopedia sets

Diapers needed:

• Any quantity sizes 4 and up, especially size 6
