D.C. National Guard’s 257th Army Band Showcase

The D.C. National Guard’s 257th Army Band presents the “Spirit of the District of Columbia,” a free concert featuring New Guard America, D.C.-area pipes and drums performers and 257th ensembles.

The 257th will perform the first band arrangement of Jimmie Dodd’s “Washington,” the winner of The Washington Post’s 1950s contest for the composition of the official song of the District of Columbia. Pack the family and prepare for spirited and uplifting music.
