Franciscan Monastery Plant Sale

Buy monastery-grown and other herbs, vegetables, flowers and plants at the annual Franciscan Monastery Plant & Herb Sale.

Take a free tour of the historic gardens at 11 a.m. and noon, and enjoy food and craft vendors.

The sale is sponsored by the volunteer Franciscan Monastery Garden Guild and benefits the preservation and care of the gardens, which were designed by Franciscan friars over 100 years ago, as well as new initiatives, including beekeeping and a vegetable garden that provides over 6,000 pounds of food annually for low-income families in the District of Columbia.
