MOTH Family Fest 2015

The annual Moms On The Hill (MOTH) Family Fest in Garfield Park (South Carolina Avenue and 3rd Street SE) has been set for Sunday, Sept. 13, from 2 to 4:30 p.m.

The event is free for all families and typically includes performances from local musicians and dancers, as well as activities like moon bounces, face painting and a raffle featuring prizes from local businesses.

Proceeds from the raffle and a T-shirt sale are donated to a local charity. In 2015, donations were made to the D.C. General homeless shelter. Additional details — including sponsors, activities, performers and volunteer information — will be posted to the MOTH listserv and shared with the community in the coming weeks.
