Southwest DC Farmers Market Grand Opening

Dreaming Out Loud Inc. will be celebrating the start of the Southwest DC Farmers Market season at our Kick-off Celebration on Saturday, June 4!

Join us at The Lot SW at Waterfront Metro Station from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. to check out our talented farmers and food artisans selling local produce, sustainable meat and eggs, fresh baked breads, ice cream and hot cuisine from around the world. Starting at 11 a.m., VIDA Fitness will be hosting a FREE Zumba class to get the market movin’ and groovin’.

In the afternoon, UDC SNAP-Ed specialists will provide a healthy cooking demo featuring produce from the market in seasonal, easy-to-prepare recipes. And local talent will be performing live music for shoppers on our stage. Kick back with an iced coffee from Zeke’s, grab a pastry from Panorama Bakery or a pie from Nutrition Synergies LLC, and enjoy!
