Three men sought in a theft in Hill East last month have appeared in surveillance footage, police said.

The theft happened in the CVS Pharmacy at 500 12th St. SE about 9:10 p.m. June 14.

Video authorities released yesterday in connection with the crime shows the men walking into the store together and leaving, after some time elapsed. One of them held a bag as he walked out.

A man sought in a theft at a 7-Eleven near Nationals Park has appeared on video, police said.

The crime happened on the 1100 block of South Capitol Street SW on May 17 about 7:15 p.m.

Surveillance footage police released yesterday shows a man with a hat taking what appeared to be a DVD off a store shelf. He then walked toward the check-out counter with the item and pulled something out of his pocket.

(Updated at 3:15 p.m.) A man and a woman who took a package outside a Hill East home last week ended up with a back-support device for pregnant women, according to authorities.

A pregnancy belt theft happened on the 1300 block of C Street SE last Friday about 7:15 p.m.

In a video police released today in connection with the crime, the man was shown rolling a suitcase along beside him. The man leaves the suitcase on the sidewalk, and walks up to a residence to take the package.

He was last shown loading the package into his suitcase, and then walking away with the woman.

Authorities today also distributed surveillance footage in connection with a bicycle theft on Capitol Hill.

The crime occurred in a parking garage of an Internal Revenue Service office at 500 North Capitol St. NW around 12:50 p.m. May 23.

The video shows two men walking into the garage. One of them then rides out of the garage on the bicycle, as the other man walks out beside him.

Police are on the lookout for a man filmed taking a package from a doorstep in Hill East.

The theft occurred on the 1500 block of Independence Ave. SE on April 22 at about 7:17 p.m., according to authorities.

The home’s surveillance camera caught someone opening a gate, walking up the steps and swiping a package along with other assorted mail. Authorities are calling the man in the video a “person of interest” in the crime.

Police have also asked the public’s help in identifying someone filmed snatching items from the CVS located at 645 H St. NE.

A man wearing a dark suit and a tie is wanted in connection with a theft on Capitol Hill, according to video police released today.

The theft happened on the 500 block of New Jersey Avenue NW about 1 p.m. last Friday. The area is just east of the Georgetown University Law Center.

The video authorities distributed shows the man walking into a CVS Pharmacy near the scene of the crime and appearing to buy something at a self-service checkout register. Before leaving the store, he waves in the direction of the camera.

Several young men wanted in connection with a theft at a 7-Eleven on Barracks Row last month have appeared in surveillance footage.

The crime happened at the 7-Eleven at 429 8th St. SE about 1:45 p.m. on Feb. 19, police said.

Video police distributed today in connection with the theft shows nine young men entering the convenience store.

Thefts involving groups of young people aren’t new for the Barracks Row 7-Eleven.

In three separate incidents in September, groups of kids stole items from the store.

Mayor Bowser at the press conference at Eastern Market (Photo via Twitter/ DC Police Department)An ABC7 news crew car was broken into while the reporters were covering a press conference on crime at the Eastern Market Metro station, according to ABC7.

The thief smashed a window in the car and stole equipment. The reporter said his car was parked just feet away from the press conference, where Mayor Muriel Bowser and Metropolitan Police Department Chief Cathy Lanier announced a new task force to combat robberies, particularly those committed by repeat offenders.

The new Robbery Intervention Partnership Task Force is an effort to bring together MPD, the Metro Transit Police Department, the Office of the Attorney General and the U.S. Attorney’s Office to focus on curtailing robberies.

The press conference, which was also attended by Ward 6 Councilman Charles Allen and At-Large Councilwoman Anita Bonds, was held at the entrance to the Eastern Market Metro station.

Police are searching for four people in connection with a theft on the 600 block of Pennsylvania Avenue SE.

Surveillance video released by police yesterday shows the four people entering a store that appears to be the CVS Pharmacy on the corner of Pennsylvania Avenue and 7th Street SE. The four persons of interest can then be seen leaving the store quickly with unidentified items in their hands.

The theft occurred on Monday, Dec. 7 about 2 p.m., according to police.

Police are seeking help identifying three men who they believe are connected to a theft from a car on Capitol Hill.

The men were caught on video in the Prince George’s Plaza Metro station, and can be seen walking through various parts of the station in the video.

The men are persons on interest in a theft that occurred on Nov. 7 between 2:20 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. on the 1000 block of 8th Street NE. The police are investigating the case as a theft from a car, destruction of property and credit card fraud, suggesting that the men stole at least one credit card from the car.

(Updated at 9:30 a.m.) About a dozen boys were filmed grabbing bottled drinks, bags of snacks and jerky from a 7-Eleven on Barracks Row.

A theft happened in a building on the 400 block of 8th Street SE about 11 p.m. on Sept. 25, police said. Authorities didn’t identify the building. But video police released yesterday in connection with the theft shows about a dozen boys entering the 7-Eleven at 429 8th St. SE, taking food and drinks and then leaving.

The theft came two days after a group of kids committed a flash mob-style robbery at the same 7-Eleven, stealing money from a customer and various items from the store. That 7-Eleven also was the scene of a similar robbery involving several kids in early September, Capitol Hill Corner reported.

A man sought in a motorcycle theft in Hill East last week has been caught on video.

The theft happened on the 1600 block of Massachusetts Avenue SE about 10 a.m on Sept. 13, police said.

Video authorities distributed Friday in connection with the theft first shows a man with a beard and a black hooded sweatshirt approaching a white motorcycle parked outdoors. He then fiddled with the bike and got on it.

Once on the motorcycle, the man used his feet to help move the bike around before disappearing from view.

Two men sought in a theft in August at a 7-11 near the Eastern Market Metro station have appeared on video.

The theft occurred on the 400 block of 8th Street SE about 5:30 a.m. Aug. 15, police said. Police did not identify the store. But surveillance footage released today by police shows the two men inside the 7-11 at the corner of 8th and E streets SE.

The two men entered the store separately, but can be seen talking inside. One man reached over the counter to grab a box full of cigarette cartons, which he then dumped onto the floor of the store. Both men grabbed several cartons of cigarettes and ran out.

A woman sought in a theft earlier this month at a CVS near Watkins Elementary School has appeared on video.

The theft occurred on the 500 block of 12th Street SE about 9:45 p.m. on Aug. 21, police said. Police did not identify the store. But surveillance footage police released today shows the woman going into the CVS at 500 12th St. SE with two other people.

The person of interest, wearing a white sleeveless shirt, torn jeans and a black baseball hat, smiled and waved her finger in the air as she entered the store.

A man sought in a theft from a Near Northeast house has appeared on video touching a package on the home’s porch.

The theft occurred at a house on the 600 block of F Street NE about 4 p.m. Monday, police said.

Video authorities distributed today in connection with the theft shows a bald man with glasses walking up to the home and sitting on the steps to the house’s porch.

While sitting, he reached over to a package, moved it slightly and ran one of his hands over it.

A man wanted in a H Street corridor theft was caught on video strolling out of a video game store with a box as a worker at the shop ran after him.

The theft happened at a store on 800 block of H Street NE about 4:30 p.m. on July 17, police said. Authorities didn’t identify the business. But a video police released today in connection with the theft shows a man with a baseball cap and dreadlocks in the H Street Connection GameStop at 817 H St. NE.

The man is seen walking around the store, stretching his arms and interacting with employees of the shop. At one point, he disappeared from view and reemerged with a box.

He then walked out the front door of the shop as a store worker pursued him.
